Butterflies of Hope

 

Hi everyone and hope you all ok and had a great weekend..

Today I would like to show you another thank you card that I made a while ago but never got round to posting so now here it is. I used pro markers to colour and think the papers where from Woodware and came free with a magazine, I remembered that bit. The digi image is from Crafts and Me and she is called Butterflies of Hope..Sorry for the short post but should be back later.

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..

Today I would like to show you a card that I have made using Selina Skyward from The Stamping Chef. You have to let me no what you think to the photo as I have moved where I take my photos as im struggling getting a decent photo just lately and its making me a bit mad, taking it as near to the window as I can now and thank full we had a bright day when I took this..hubby took some photos today when we went for a walk and he said the camera is not right, so recon will have to have a play..

sorry not been around much, its busy busy busy and been trying to get in front with DT cards (19 cards made this week but can not show you till new year). Been helping youngest lay 2 bedroom carpets and get house sorted and yesterday it was a mad house as dad and step mum came and wanted to see all the kids as they going away Wednesday for 4 months (lucky they go every year in the winter)so it was a gathering at ours, makes a change that got them all together at once. Little Claire Stocking Owls stamp

Hi everyone and hope you all ok and had a good week..

Over at Little Claire's its my turn for Fridays Blog Project. I have made this lovely box card using Little Claire Stocking Owls stamp . Im not sure if you call it a box card, please let us no if im wrong and if you no what its called..

To make this
 

  

 

I used

 

 

Little Claire Stocking Owls stamp

Little Claire Christmas Postcard Sentiment Stamp

x cut oval die and snowflake punch

green pro markers

snow acetate

A4 white card

A4 red glitter card

red ribbon

dovecraft gems

scoring board

glues, scissors and foam pads

 

1st I trimed the A4 white card to 14cm wide and left the length at 30cm

scored lines at 12cm 14cm 26cm 28cm

 

cut 10.5cm by 11cm out using craft knife

 

 

cut acetate and red glitter card 13.5cm by 11.5cm 

glued onto white card

 

coloured the lovely owls used different green pro markers

 

 

 

added a few gems to the bottom of owls

used foam pads to stick on red card

 

turned over to front and added punched out red glitter snowflakes

stamped happy Christmas postcard sentiment and added a bit of ribbon to the back

then glued on plus added a few more gems

 

 

fold and glue the tab

and that's it a lovely Box Christmas Card

 

will also fold flat to go in a envelope

Spotlighting Technigue

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..

 

Today I would like to show you a card that I made yesterday after seeing the challenge over at Passion for Pro Markers which is to use a spotlighting technique. Iv never heard or done this before and after having a look at the DT cards for inspiration I had a go and came up with..

 

 

have used Little Claire's new stamps called Swirlball Flowers and used canary yellow, lemon, tulip yellow, buttercup pro markers to colour the flowers. So there was a good spotlight look I left the rest of the image white and used a x cut embossing folder, tonic punch, tonic distressing tool all on white card. The photos have come up a bit on the grey side..

Hi everyone again..its my second post for today but I have had this one ready just to publish..

  Would like to show you a card that I have made using one of my new digi images from Sweet Pea Stamps and this beautiful lady is called Purple Gaze by Helena Reis, think its the name that made me go for the black and purple/lilac look...Was lucky again as random org picked my card as a winner over at One Sweet Challenge and I won $10 to spend on Sweet Pea Stamps images so I had get get 4 more  beautiful digi images...

Cogsley Copperpot

Hi everyone and hope you all ok.

Today  would like to show you a card that I have made using one of the image from The Stamp Chef, was lucky that random org chose my card as the winner over at The Stamping Chef so I chose 3 digi's and here one of them.  This little beauty is called Cogsley Copperpot, great name..

 

 

 

 

lots of pro markers used for this one and they are dusky rose, antique pink, rose pink, carmine, pink carnation, putty, tan, pastel beige, sandstone, caramel, cocoa, cool grey 3/4, ice grey 5, oatmeal, blush, dusky pink, baby pink, cinnamon.

still don't no the name of the corner and leafy flourishes but I no the 4 leaf die is from Marianna , x cut cogs die, brown flower is WOC the others from stash, Steampunk Fantasy 2 digi papers from Bearly-Mine Designs, tonic distressing tool

the shed roof that been fixing, had a bit of a leak lol, replace the clear plastic and put another one over the hole, I no its asbestos roofing sheets as well  

 good job we took all the ceiling of as it was all socked as found more cracks, used this black roof repair stuff inside and out and its worked so far but have found more cracks and leaks right along the edge so now just running down the wall as you can see the wood is a bit wet. Must get it all sorted and tided so I can move hubby out there lol
