Sweet Pea Stampers Fantasy Challenge

Hi everyone and hope you all ok and had a great week

 

Today is a start of a new challenge over at Sweet Pea Stampers and this fortnightly   challenge is called Fantasy, so its fairies, mermaids, pixies, witches etc . For my DT card I have used  Sweet Pea Stamps Elaine Cox's Black Butterfly Fairy

 

 

have used= pro markers to colour, x cut oval dies, tonic butterfly punch, flowers and pearls from WOC, woodware leaf punch, papers are lucy Cromwell, happy wishes stamp from Little Claires, liquid pearls and ribbon from stash

New released Christmas Postcard Sentiment Stamps

Hi everyone and hoping you all ok and a Big Thank You for all the lovely comments you have given me. I had my stitches out Tuesday and lets just say I new they was taking all 6 out. Nurse said they put these in tight, didn't help being in for so long. I layed  there singing in my head as they were coming out. Iv had some out before and that wasn't nothing like this time. Least they out now so things can only get better, saying that they a bit on the red side today. Oh well, least im walking better lol

Today over at Little Claire they have just released their new Christmas Postcards Sentiment Stamp Set. With this stamp set you will receive 10 different stamps all with Christmas saying..

I have 2 cards to show you today using "A Christmas Hug" and "Happy Christmas". I have added picture of all the stamps below.
 

1st card I have used x cut dies for hearts them used craft-too dots embossing folder on the white heart. The papers are from Bearly-Mine Designs

 

 

2nd card I have used Little Claire's Joy, Hope and Wonder  stamp. Crafts-Too dot embossing folder and the  Happy Christmas sentiment

New Stamp Released at Little Claire - Manphabet

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..

 

Today over at Little Claire they have just released new stamps called  Manphabet

These stamps are great as you can put together and make different words to add to your card or as I have done on my 2nd card is just use the words on your card..

For my 1st card I have use Little Claire's  Football Hedgehogs stamp (so sweet) and used the Manphabet stamps to make the backing paper. Stamped the letters and number, coloured with my pro markers then cut into squares backed onto cream card then added with foam pads.

 

 

2nd card have stamped the letters  to spell HAPPY BIRTHDAY, coloured then added with foam pads

 

 

 

Manphabet!  Here's an alphabet and number set that is just perfect for when you are making cards for men/boys as each letter and number has glimpses of footballs, rugby balls, cricket, tennis, bowling balls...... Great to use on projects/cards for anyone sporty.

Contains full alphabet, numbers 0 - 9 and '!, &'

5 quick and easy cards using Steampunk papers

Hi everyone and hope you all ok and had a great Bank Holiday weekend.

Not looking forward to just before dinner as im at the doctors seeing the nurse. I had dissolvable stiches put in after my op but they being a bit stubborn and not fell out so having to have them taken out. I rang the ward that I was on the other week and they said they should fall out after 7 to 10 days, so make a appointment with the nurse to have removed. Normally our doctors are good and you can get straight in but I rang then last Tuesday and today was the only day I could see the nurse so iv had the stiches now for 27 days lol, well im making the most of them.
 

 

Today I would like to show you 5 yes 5 quick and easy cards that I made the day before I went into hospital using Donna's new Steampunk Fantasy digi papers (sorry late posting) Was on a roll making these lol.

Think these papers speak for themselves so you can do quick cards or you could go to town with them..
Don't think you can tell but have 3D the big and 2 other clocks then just added a postcard sentiment stamp with a bit of ribbon.

Little Claire's Challenge - Holidays

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..

2 different cards using New Little Claire stamp

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..

Today  would like to show you one stamp but have 2 totally different looks. The stamp is a new stamp called Swirly Whirly Flowers from Little Claire Designs and is also available as a digi to. For the 1st card I have used Maja papers and colours flowers with promarkers. The circles are by using a X Cut dies then embossed with a dots Craft-Too folder..

 

 

 

 

Made 2nd card by having a bit of a play with the stamp.

Masked the bottom part of the stamp then used rhubarb stalk dew drop ink to stamp on white card them with the same ink blended all over. Just layered up with card, added black ribbon and tiny bow plus a post card sentiment stamp..

Steampunk digi papers

Hi everyone, hope you all ok and had a great weekend..

This is me today and not a scheduled post for a change lol, have been so thank full for having a schedule button the last say few months with everything that has happened here. My fingers are crossed things will get back to normal now.

 

Today I have for you a card that I made using Donna's new Steampunk Fantasy digi papers and im loving these as they can be used for male or female cards and some of the papers you don't even have to add much as the papers speak for themselves..

Thank You!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, hope you all ok..

 

 

 

Thank you all for all your lovely well wishes you have given me and the lovely cards you have sent,  you have all made my days better. The last 2 days I have noticed that im getting better as I can move about now with out making funny noises lol and have managed to get dressed now for 2 days. Today has been the best day so far so it can only get better and iv even bin for a slow walk round the block (5mins if that) and that put a smile on me face but say the best is iv made a few cards. Mother in law treated me to Hunkeydory's Decadent Days and Glamorous Nights card kits so I could still make easier cards as its mainly push out toppers cut card then stick on. I must say tho that it is quality card and the colours and images are gorgeous, am having fun as never used kits before.

I have got quiet a few cards to get posted that I got done before me op so you be saying oh no not another one soon. Iv got to start now as iv only got one more card that is already scheduled so its a must for me to do and I be coming to see what you all been up to and get up to speed with everything.

Well its fingers crossed now for me that nothing else happens this year as its been a bit of a roller coast ride with everything, happy and the sad times.

Pop out/Exploding Box

Hi everyone and hope you all ok...

 

Would like to show you a pop out/exploding box using Little Claire's Hedgehogs in Squares Stamp Set...

 



 

 

 

 

To make this box you will need

Little Caire Designs Hedgehogs in Squares

First Editions - Spring Drop paper pad

Pro markers apple, meadow green, canary, tan, caramel

Memento Tuxedo Black ink

X Cut flower dies

Flowers/Pearl  from WOC

3 pieces of A4 card

Glue

Ruler

Pencil

Scissors  

 

 

 

1st start by cutting a piece of card 18cm square and another 14cm square. The 18cm piece you need to measure and mark lightly with a pencil 6cm from each side inwards. The 14cm piece measure 5cm from each side inwards.

(I've used a dark pen as it shows up better in the photo for you to see) 

 

 

cut out the corners on each piece then score/fold

 

stamp, colour and cut out the cute hedgehogs. I done this twice as I have put the hedgehogs on the outside plus the inside of box

 

 

Using card and the papers cut pieces to fit the flaps on the outside

 

and the inside. Glue the smaller square just on the base to the inside of the larger squares base and add the 2nd lot of cute hedgehogs 

 

glued 5 flowers in the middle square

 

For the lid cut a piece of card 8 1/2cm square and measure 1cm in from each side inwards.

 All 4 corners cut a small triangle out of each corner, fold along the lines then glue just the triangles and stick to form the lid. You can use a 8cm square piece of card and do the same but I found the lid to be a bit on the small side.

 

 

To make the flower on the top I used papers and x cut flower dies, glued cut out pieces together then added a pearl to centre
