mine is we used to live in Germany and the washing machine was kept down in the cellar, well one day (when Steve was away - typical) I ran down, always ran to avoid cobwebs etc, put washing in, quickly opened the drawer to add powder and there, filling up the whole drawer was the biggest spider I have ever seen! I did scream, ran back upstairs and it took me ages to go back again, so pleased that my machine is now in the kitchen..........

Here is a card that i have designed using one of the lovely cute hedgehog outline stickers. You can make about 3/4 cards out of one sheet so its great value as they are only 70p each

So Stylish

Hi everyone, hope you ok and having a great week..

 

Think we getting a bit back to normal now..Yes...Have been a bit busy and even managed to paint our hall, stairs and landing, thats was fun..I've been trying to get ahead of myself making DT cards and extra cards as 31st of July i'm in for a op (got to ring in morning on the day to make sure still have bed tho). Fingers crossed that they can do it by key hole so im only have to stay in 24hrs. Its when i come home that i'm not allowed to do anything for 6 weeks, can't even drive or lift a kettle. I'm looking forward to it but poor hubby's not lol....In the middle now of sorting my craft bits and moving things about so i card still make cards when out of hospital. Please bare with me for a bit longer and thank you for all your lovely comments. You make my day....Thats it for the going on, so now

Bearly-Mine Sketch Challenge

My 1st Fridays Blog Project for Little Claire's

 

Hi everyone and hope you all ok...

 

 

As you no that i have just joined the Little Claire's Design Team and we all take it in turns do do a Weekly Project for you showing you the card we have made and the stages you go through to make the card. So for my 1st Project i have made a circle easel card and have used one of Little Claire's digi image's called Bee Follower's

I am also using a 'Just been Released' stamp set and these are called 'Postcard Greetings'...which are great.

 

 

To make this card i have used

 

 

Little Claire's = Bee Follower's digi

Little Claire's = Postcard Sentiment stamps

Papers are Maja Designs Life in the Country

X cut scallop and round circles die's

X cut flower die's

yellow  and white card

used a 5 x 5 card blank

Pro Markers used = blush, tulip yellow, green, cool grey 1, arctic blue, rose pink

 

 

First i start by using my Cuttle Bug with the die's and get everything cut out. Print of the digi image then colour the lovely Bee's in with Pro markers plus stamp out one of the Postcard Sentiments. Have used one that's says "100% wonderful"

 

 

To get the main shape i used the 5 x 5 card blank and a large scallop circle die. Place the die so it overhangs a bit, then cut out.

 

 

The top of the card is then folded in half and the other large circle die that you cut out is only glued on the bottom half then you stick it to the bottom half of the folded front. After that i start gluing everything together and us a fine liner pen to add crosses and lines around the top and bottom part of the card.

 

 

I use Collall glue for gluing the papers and Silicone Glue to add the flowers to the card and to raze the Postcard sentiment up a bit so it holds the front of the card up.  Used green card Candi to the center of the flowers and shaped the flowers a bit to give them a 3D look.

 

After that i came up with this lovely easel card

My 1st DT card for Little Claire's Design challenge

Hi everyone, hope you all ok and had a good week..

I no i said a few weeks ago that i had some great new to tell you and now is the time to tell you...I had a email asking if i would like to join the DT's at Little Claire's.. Im so chuffed to be asked that i had to say yes. Little Claire's was the 1st design of stamp that i purchased and it was their blog that got me to start my own blog so you can see why I'm am so chuffed to have been asked to join the wonderful ladies and to use Little Claire's beautiful stamps....well here goes and hope you like.

Sorry and a big thank you

 

 

Hi every one, hope you all ok..

Want so say a Big Sorry as i have just realised that i 1st started my blog on 11th June last year...Time flies when you having fun.

Would also like to say a Big Thank you to all my lovely followers and for all the help and advice plus all the lovely comments that you have given me over the year and hoping that i have made some blogging friends along the way. I'm still learning the ropes on how we do things plus still learning how to use a pc lol, gone past the stage now i think of deleting what i have just done by mistake.

I have learnt allot from all you lovely crafts regarding making cards and i no that i have improved my cards over the last few years. Its all down to you all by reading and looking at all your beautiful designs. When i look back at some of my cards i think oh no and i used to think they were great then but like with age and time we all improve (don't no about the age bit for me)..

Could you all please bear with me for a bit as i would like to do my 1st Happy Birthday Candy for you all soon. I have been thinking that i will leave it till next month due to the fact of finding out if we are losing Google Reader and all going on to Bloglovin, still don't no what i'm doing with that but really it may help if i start using it more.

I'm looking into getting 2 vouchers for my 1st Birthday Candy to you so am looking into finding a great craft store for you to get some more lovely crafty bits to add to your stash.

Next on list it how to link up Mr Linky on my blog lol, found a free linky so far. No worries i get it sussed but if not i be shouting for help again...

My 1st posted card

Hi everyone. My very 1st card to show you all. Hope you like. This is a card that i have done for my dad for fathers day. I have used a Little Claire's Design stamp. It was the Little Claire's blog that started me of liking the idea to start one. This was a quick card i did but i think turned out ok. I coloured the little boy in using pro-markers and distressed round using chalks. The edges of the papers have been distressed to using chalks and a pair of scissors to ruff the edges. I thought giving the card a ruff and distressed look was fitting for the little boy.
