Art Deco/Vintage

Hi everyone, hope you ok and had a good weekend..
I have tried to do a Art Deco/Vintage ish card but I'm not sure what i am doing regarding that time line. The stamp i got free from mag a while ago and all i have done is coloured her skin just using Ivory and Stain pro marker plus added more black bits. The papers are from Kanban i think as hubby's mum has just given me a few more bits and bobs to play with. The black glitter flowers came from the 99p shop and the flourishes are from a Marianne die. Add ribbon from stash and plenty brown sugar glitter round edge of the lady. Did want to add some feathers but not got the right colours so added extra gems.

The Old Cotton Reel

Hi everyone, hope you having a good day.
Well iv finally finished playing with a cotton reel. I did enjoy making this and i'm pleased how it has turned out.
Every so often at my local craft warehouse (Colemans) they have competitions to raise money for charities. This time you pay £2.50 for the cotton reel and £2 is going to Cransley Hospice. You can make anything you like so long as it includes the cotton reel so i have come up with a vase.
For the flowers i have used lilac and cream card and papers are from Crafty Individuals/Springtime. X cut flower die and Marianne die for the flourishes and leaves. The square and circles are all so X cut dies and embossed with a Craft-Too flower embossing folder.
Have posted plenty of photos.

When the competitions over i think they sell all the creation and that money also goes to the charity...that's what happened last time.
Hope you like...

Changed Card

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend and all the mum's got spoilt yesterday.
I'd like to say a big thank you for my lovely comments and all the good luck wishes Ive had regarding my try for the DT position. I'm so chuffed.
I can now show you the card that i did for my mum, well you have already see it but i changed it into a twisted easel card like i did for hubby's mum. The image is one of Sweet Pea Stamps/ Rachel Anderson's Twilight Shimmer.

2 of my grandsons...had to show you this one..

Now i have to do something with this cotton reel..Hubby's mum has entered us both into a competition where you have to make something using the cotton reel. You have to pay £2.50 for the cottn reel but £2 goes to charity so i dont mind entering. Think i will paint it white then and turn it into a vase. Do some die cut flowers then stick onto wire  and add some ribbon etc. I no its a bit boring compered to what hubby's mum is doing. She making a carousel with all quilled girls sitting on swings. I will make sure i show you as its going to be amazing when finished. She has won one of the competitions before with one of her quilled cards.
